Meditation is relaxing when true silence is achieved. Sometimes I find it difficult to quiet my mind. Often I have to sit alone and tell my mind to be quiet. Taking in deep breaths and with each breath thinking the word peace. When I exhale I imagine release. I imagine my mind releasing all thoughts.
